According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, quoted from IRNA, Persian Gulf Anthropology and Intangible Heritage Center, one of the country's leading projects that has been formed in accordance with the standards of the UNWTO and has been approved by the official authorities, was inaugurated in a video conference by Ali Asghar Moonsean, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and handicrafts of the country on Sunday, september 27.
This center, that is located in Salkh village of Qeshm Island, was operated by cooperation of Qeshm Free Zone Organization and Village government of Salkh to introduce and preserve intangible heritage and provide anthropological information to tourists.
The Persian Gulf Anthropology and Intangible Heritage Center intends to lend a lasting history to the future and tourists by displaying works such as fishing utensils, fishing tools, musical instruments, clothing, etc, that were and are used by our ancestors on this island.
Alireza Amri Kazemi, Director of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, also participated in the opening ceremony on behalf of this organization along with the people and trustees of Salakh village at the project site.
