According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, Torab Zakeri, announcing this news, said: Dr. Salahddin Delshad, a pediatric surgeon, and CEO of "Mohkam Charity" in two concurrent operations, successfully treated a 4.5-year-old boy, who had problems with fever and narrowing of the urethra, on November 21st.
Referring to the child's congenital malformation, he continued: In addition to the free medical attendance of the doctors of "Mohkam Charity", and according to the agreement signed by the Qeshm Free Zone Organization with this institute, as well as with the cooperation and coordination of the health authorities of Qeshm and Qeshm Payambar-e-Aazam hospital, surgery for children with diabetes
Congenital diseases and congenital anomalies, from November 21, 2018, are being done at this hospital.
According to the director of health and social affairs of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization, the patient will be sent to Bandar Abbas or Tehran if there are no facilities for such operations in Qeshm.
Zakeri added that on the first day, 50 children, with congenital anomalies, were visited free of charge at the Shahid Zakeri Clinic of Qeshm, by Dr. Salahuddin Delshad. Four children were sent to Bandar Abbas for surgery, and seven children were sent to Tehran for continued treatment.
He also announced the visit of 20 children on the third day, saying: Dr. Moghadam, a pediatric surgeon with congenital anomaly, another member of this charity, was screened at the Qeshm Hospital, and finally five patients were introduced to Bandar Abbas to continue their specialized examinations.
The "Mohkam Charity" was set up in Tehran in 2005 to provide treatment and assistance to needy families that have children with congenital diseases, and with the expansion of its branches, a national cover was found. With the trying of Director of Health and Social affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, this Charity began its therapeutic activities on Qeshm Island this September.
