According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, Michele Jianoneh , Lorraine's vice chancellor for educational affairs of University of Rome UnitelmaSapienza, and the university's representative in Iran, noted the high capacity of Qeshm Island and said: Qeshm Free Zone still has many hidden potentials in terms of trade and tourist attraction that can be exploited.
He added: "We hope that with the good cooperation of Qeshm Free Zone and its interested officials, we will be able to introduce this island as a gateway to establish closer ties between Iran and Europe and witness the development of Qeshm in various industrial and tourism fields."
Jianoneh, as the coordinator of affairs in the field of knowledge transfer and industry technology, has provided Indus tried and reputable brands with the condition of transferring technology to provide the goods needed o DUTY for export to Qeshm Ansa Morvarid Qeshm Company.
Mojtaba Ali Noorfashki, executive designer and consultant and coordinator of the BOT project of DUTY-FREESHOP projects of Ensa Morvarid Qeshm Company, also mentioned the company's field of activity and said: This company has ongoing projects to supply tax-exempt products at five points on this island, including Qeshm International Airport and ports, which could lead to the capacity to attract tourists to this area.
He continued: "The establishment of these stores will create high employment for the people of the island, which can be referred to jobs such as selling handicrafts, souvenirs, Iranian clothing, etc."
According to Noorfashki, another part of the chain's activities is to sell foreign goods with reputable brands that can compete with neighboring countries.
Following this meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization welcomed the presence of investors who contribute to the development of the island by transferring technology and said: Promoting the tourism industry is one of the most important goals of this region for the development of the economy of the local community.
Hamidreza Momeni continued: "We hope that with the presence of investors who pay attention to modern technology, standardization of service level and branding of domestic products, while attracting domestic and foreign tourists, we will help the country's currency and the rotation of the island's economy."
