According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone organization, Hamid Reza Momeni, along with a group of deputies and managers of the organization, on Friday, November 22, visited the loading and export cargoes process at Bahman and Kaveh docks.
Monitoring the process of loading one of the essential goods imported into the country at the Bahman dock in Qeshm was the first step of the visit.
It is the first 1,000-tonne cargo of rice to arrive from the United Arab Emirates to the island of Qeshm by the Iranian ship Mahan 2 and landed on the Bahman dock in Qeshm.
The discharge of these imported cargoes will be completed within 24 hours by 3 cranes.
In the second part of his program, the director of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization, in attendance at the second commercial dock of the island, also visited the process of loading the export-oriented Clinker Type 2 product produced in this free zone.
The Libra ship, which berthed on the Qeshm Kaveh dock on Wednesday, November 20, is scheduled to load 48,000 tons of clinker to the UAE.
The process of loading this cargo produced in Qeshm will take five days and the Libra ship will leave Qeshm on Sunday for the Emirates.
Since the beginning of this year, 165,000 tons of products manufactured by Qeshm Cement Company, including three cement and five Clinker shipments have been exported abroad.
