According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, Seyyedeh Mahdiyeh Fallahi Masoole stated: According to the sixth program of development and selection of free zones as a technology hub for the country, according to the order of the CEO of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization, and with the participation of the Vice President of Science and Technology, the Construction of the Specialized Tower of Science Technology and Marine Industries was launched.
She continued: The tower aims to support startups and knowledge-based companies in the fields of science and maritime technology will be made at the southern side of Qeshm International Incubator with a total area of 3,000 square meters and with an initial investment of 50 billion Rials.
Director of the Qeshm International Incubator, referring to the construction of this tower in five to nine floors, added: The design of offices for the deployment of companies, accelerators, investment funds, and most importantly, the workshop space required for semi-mass production is also projected at this center.
According to her, the first goal of the center's construction is to support successful startups that require facilities for semi-mass production to be ready for entry into the mass production and large industries.
Fallahi said: The proximity to the Persian Gulf, the characteristics of this sea in terms of salinity, temperature, depth, and sustainable environmental conditions for aquaculture are from the capacities of this island to build such a center.
Director of the Qeshm International Incubator referred to a large number of students and graduates of Qeshm, and stated: Qeshm is the best place to attract specialized knowledge companies in the field of marine science and industry, and activities in this field.
It is worth noting that Specialized Tower of Science Technology and Marine Industries of Qeshm, with the presence of Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, Hamid Reza Momeni, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, Fereydoun Hemmati, Governor of Hormozgan, and a group of officials, deputies and the managers of this organization were established.
