According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, Mohammad Ali Sobhani, at the Qeshm Investment Opportunities Conference, which was held at the Qeshm International Incubator, said: The Iranian government has created free zones as an upstream area for investment, which these areas, including Qeshm, operate on the basis of specific laws in attracting investors.
He announced that the US government was trying to prevent Iranian successes in foreign investment by leaving JCPOA, and added: Iran has very strong relations with European, African and Asian countries in the current situation.
According to the Ambassador of Iran in Qatar, despite the intrigues of Trump on the issue (JCPOA), our relations with many countries in the world are very good and solid, and by attracting foreign investors, especially in the Qeshm free zone as the largest island of Persian Gulf, we can exploiting the important industrial and economic capacities of this island.
He mentioned the CEOs of free zones including Qeshm as governors with special powers and added: Considering the successes of Dr. Rouhani's government in communicating with the world and the important role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cross-regional issues, especially on the issue (JCPOA), we see an increase in foreign investment in our country.
Sobhani continued: "There are no negative points for investing in Iran, and Qeshm free zone with its high capacity, is in a position to attract investors in various industrial sectors."
It is worth mentioning that the conference that was headed by Hamidreza Momeni, chairman of the board of directors and CEO of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization, was held in the Qeshm International Incubator, in addition to the head of the department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bandar Abbas and Qeshm, the ambassadors of South Africa, Kazakhstan, and Afghanistan, as well as economic advisers from Austria, Russia, and Vietnam were present.
